After initially focusing on designing and building MVPs for early-stage startups, over the past 12 years we’ve grown to work with larger companies like Tysers, Humn and PwC’s innovation team. We deliver new products and features, or, work as an embedded team improving existing software, making sure it delivers what users actually need.

Driving fleet insurance into the future with Humn

We designed a new version of Humn’s Rideshur product, which helps fleet managers understand the relationship between driver behaviour and risk. We supported their in-house product team with user research, design and React front-end development.

To understand what information to display when, we storyboarded the entire relationship each user type has with the product

Using data to insure fleets against piracy with Tysers

Working with maritime insurance brokers to design a tool which manages and insures vessels against the risk of piracy and war. It needed to be easy to understand where risk was prevalent and easy to make sure vessels have adequate coverage.

We supported Zeidler Group’s digital service platform for over 4 years, helping them to launch a suite of interconnected products that assist with every aspect of fund management law. This included product missions to design new modules and embedded development expertise in support of their in-house tech team.

We designed a new web app for Tillit (formerly VINCO), which allows individuals to invest in funds handpicked by trusted experts. Our work included hosting UX workshops, conducting user interviews and tests plus creating UI prototypes.

Creating an industry news app for tax professionals

The indirect tax team at PwC wanted to provide a better way to keep clients up-to-date with the latest sector news and changes. Due to the ever changing nature of local tax rates, by creating a mobile focused news app their clients could be alerted to updates in real time. We worked with their business team to turn this vision into a straightforward feature set, then with their development team to support the design’s implementation.

By configuring jurisdictions and sectors of interest, users can set up a curated stream of relevant news, only receiving updates which are important to them.

We also designed a dashboard tool for tracking tax changes over time using embedded BI analytics, including advanced user access configuration.

Delivering documents and guidance for growing businesses

We’ve worked with Farillio since before they launched, helping to deliver templates, guides and other legal services to growing businesses. Now post-funding, we continue to work as their design team.

Making document drafting painless for UrNamu

We designed and built a company formation and legal templating tool to help new businesses in Saudi Arabia. Our work included building a document editor and payment system, as well as the marketing site and admin panel.

Building a training platform for leveraged finance professionals

We designed and built FLT’s training and learning management tool to be clear, easy to use and live within a few months. Our work included the marketing site, admin tools and API integrations for payments and course content. By adopting a lean approach to product development we integrated existing course management and payment solutions into one seamless experience, not wasting time building everything from scratch.

Creating a tool to organise and manage Power BI dashboards

Redkite are a growing data organisation who work with some of the largest global organisations to help them gather, manage and interpret their data. Working alongside one of their data teams we designed and helped build a solution for managing access to Power BI dashboards and reports, creating a tool allowing users to easily find the right data at the right time. We provided dedicated design and front-end development expertise in support of their in-house team.

Making data pipelines easy to monitor

Luco helps organisations understand the health of their data assets, improve  data reliability and reduce the troubleshooting efforts of data issues. Throughout the product’s lifecycle we support the development team with design support, integrating with their sprint cycles to create a set of bespoke components based on genuine user needs.

Luco is a complex product, so we used clear colours to communicate data transfer success or failure providing clarity and aiding ease of use.

The platform is alerts based, but once these are investigated the interior dashboards need to communicate a huge amount of data in a single view.

Making automated document processing intuitive for mea

We redesigned mea’s data ingestion module, optimising the user experience specifically for brokers and insurers. Guided by user feedback we reorganised the existing information architecture and designed a new visual style to reduce friction in the userflow, creating a nicer working environment for analysts to work in.

Designing a learning app to train financial professionals

Having created an MVP validating the customer interest and technical viability for a spaced learning app, the Learning Lab team needed a fresh design to be rolled out across web, iOS and Android apps. We worked with them on a product mission to revamp the UX and UI, create a coherent design system across the whole product ecosystem, suitable for white-labelling with a broad range of their partners.

This product helps companies plan employee relocations and remote work from abroad, needing to surface the most important data in the most relevant places

This tool uses AI to analyse thousands of contracts for potential legal liability issues, so a clear dashboard view was essential to summarise the vast dataset

Designing the next generation of contract review tools

Large in-house legal teams manage vast numbers of contracts within multiple portfolios. Historically, ascertaining their risk exposure is a time consuming and expensive process. We collaborated with PwC to create an AI-powered contract review solution that’s easy to use and understand. Starting from scratch, we established user needs, then designed, prototyped and user tested Contract Counsel. Post-launch we provided ongoing design support to their in-house product and development teams.

Lawyers ❤️ MS Word, so we designed a Word Add-in so they could review contract risks without leaving their happy place

Setting a new standard for tax news and insights

We led the redesign of PwC’s “GlobalVATOnline”, a global online platform providing essential news and insights on VAT/GST.  The primary focus was on expanding the tax types available on the platform and delivering a more personalised and relevant user experience.

We prioritised simplicity even in complex pricing plans, ensuring smooth navigation through the intricacies of integrating new tax types. Users can now fine-tune preferences at a granular level to enjoy uncluttered and tailored information and recommendations.

The result? A polished responsive platform establishing a new standard for global tax insights.

We refined the Globe Search tool, enhancing its interface for more efficient navigation and clear exploration of complex tax data and reporting on both mobile and desktop

Helping therapists reduce the time they spend on clinic updates

Harley Therapy connects therapists and clients via an online platform. They approached us to design a new mobile web app to help therapists manage their practice and complete clinic updates at the end of each session.

We worked closely with the therapists to understand their needs and typical workflow. Our solution included contextual questions to enable users to manage booking and scheduling for clients, as well as less common cases like no-shows, holidays and late cancellations.

After our initial sprint we continued working with the Harley Therapy team on their client experience, increasing conversion rates in their booking flow by over 300%.

Using healthtech to empower people in their journey to recovery

Orri is a specialist private clinic that helps people recover from eating disorders using tailored treatment plans. Working alongside their in-house team we refreshed the design of their client portal to better support client recovery journeys. The new streamlined platform empowers users to seamlessly track appointments, access resources, and review their treatment plans across different devices.

Executed within three-month timeline, our design and development team ensured the delivery of a scalable, user-centric solution tailored to support clients throughout their recovery journey.

Building a community platform that boosts member engagement

ELFA serves as the voice of the investor community, striving to enhance transparency, efficiency, and resilience within the leveraged finance market.

Their team approached us to create a new members platform to support more collaboration within their committees, and reduce the complexity of membership management for admins. We led discovery, design and build of the new platform, introducing features for discussions, events, tasks, and communication with industry partners.

The new platform has proven popular with members, with increased collaboration between members and quicker task completion for admins. We continue to work with the ELFA team to support and iterate on the platform.

An innovative platform to match coaches with coachees

The Growing Coaches Edtech platform aims to match and connect student coaches with businesses looking to upskill their employees. The Growing Coaches approached Inktrap with the idea, looking to create a brand and launch a platform for it. Working closely with The Growing Coaches and their users we ensured the platform not only aligned with their business plan but also provided the right amount of useful functionality for both user types.

Working on a sprint basis, we built the MVP across 3 months which included a matching algorithm, the ability to for both user types to manage their coaching sessions and track progress, plus, in later releases a Zoom integration.

Streamlining contract risk management

Tacit Legal aims to empower clients in their contract and risk management journey through its managed service. We collaborated with Tacit's stakeholders to efficiently plot their user's lifecycle through the contract landscape and their vision for the product. This provided us with enough information to create their MVP and subsequent releases in a series of design sprints.

Designing new features and services to make TV rights negotiation more efficient

TRX is an online TV rights platform that helps buyers discover, negotiate and license content from distributors around the world.

Our work on their distributor platform started with understanding the user needs and domain-specific language with a series of user and stakeholder interviews. From there we moved into a sprint process, initially improving their email campaign tool before working together on an ongoing basis.

We also collaborated with TRX on multiple experimental projects to help streamline deal making. This included two-week sprints for a rights catalogue app for use at conferences, a self-service rights platform for BBC Studios, and new features for content discovery.

In a two-week sprint we explored a self-service platform for large distributors like BBC Studios and Lionsgate.

The email campaign tool provides an efficient way for distributors to inform their  buyers about the latest shows, availability and pricing.

Fuelling victory with data-driven design to improve racing performance

Teaming up with Toyota Connected, the innovation arm of Toyota, we redefined the data experience for their Gazoo Rally team. We designed intuitive tablet and mobile prototypes that enabled real-time tracking of critical race data including vehicle data and driver performance for team owners and drivers.

Collaborating closely with their internal product manager, we transformed complex requirements into an intuitive, user-friendly interface, providing the team with a powerful toolset to ensure peak performance.

Helping freelance executive coaches manage their clients, meetings and more

My Coaching Place brings together the core features of two existing coaching platforms, into one compelling product. Having originally designed and built one of the previous platforms we were brought in at an early stage to plan the new feature set and overhaul the visual style.

We worked in sprints across a 6 week product mission to research and design features for communication, task management, scheduling, feedback, reporting, and video conferencing. We used our experience from the previous product to map out a new process for matching executive coaches with potential clients based on their requirements and interests.

The designs received excellent feedback from users and the development team. The product is now being built.

Empowering fleet safety: redefining risk insights for commercial vehicle insurance

Working together with Flock, a commercial fleet insurer, we designed and built a platform that allows fleet managers to effortlessly conduct real-time fleet risk assessments.

Flock uses a risk scoring system that promotes risk reduction and operational safety within commercial fleets by incentivising safe driving. To help drivers and fleet managers improve their scores, we designed a platform that showcases easily digestible and actionable risk data, empowering users with critical decision-making information, along with tools and guidance to enhance their risk performance.

Our streamlined approach involved an intensive 2-week discovery phase, followed by a 4-week design period and 2.5-months of front-end development, delivering a robust platform to improve safety for fleet operations.
